FIELD TRIP FORUM By Tammy White

As FHE has grown it has become harder to have field trips for everyone in the group. However, there are a lot of wonderful field trips that have been taking place on a family, or small group basis. This is a column where you can share your ideas with others.

If you have taken a great field trip and have a contact person please let others know. Even if you can't plan a field trip for the whole group you may be able to spur another trip by other students.

Calvary Homeschoolers recently took a wonderful field trip to Mrs. Hanes Cookie Factory in Davidson County. Organized by Nancy Smith, this trip included a tour, free cookie tasting, and information on family business, and the way to run a business. Contact Mrs. Mona Hanes - 764-1402.
Tammy White recently took a small group (7) to Clemmons Village Candle Factory. The trip took less than an hour but was very informative and each person received a candle as well as seeing how they were made. To schedule your own trip, call Brenda at 766-2050.
AMF MAJOR LEAGUE LANES will also accommodate groups for bowling at a discount rate. All you need to do is call the bowling center.
